Dried Apricot Liqueur Recipe

Ambarletta writes, "Here is how my Aunt Grace would bottle up apricots. Enjoy!"

Ingredients:

  • 1 11-oz (about 300 g) package dried apricots
  • 1 cup (225 g) sugar
  • 2 cups (500 ml) vodka

Preparation:

1. Boil apricots to soften.
2. Combine all ingredients in a quart jar.
3. Seal tight. Let it sit for 3 weeks.

Quick, easy, and the perfect way to bring summer into the picture at any time of year.

Yield: a bottle of dried apricot liqueur.
